Introduction
Our new online B2B system has been designed to make your life easier. It allows customers to purchase as and when they require a license without the need to complete manual purchase orders for each customer.
You can order all our products when you need them, even if you're on your customer's site and need them fast. You can now order 24/7 and receive your license keys instantly.
Note: The prices shown include VAT and your discount!
Avast is currently the only product that can be ordered online, but again we plan to integrate our complete portfolio over the coming weeks.
Initial Steps
Initial steps you need to take to begin ordering online. Here is a guide on how to activate your online account if you have not already done so.
- Contact Sales and request activation
- Visit http://www.avosec.co.uk and select «Forgotten Password».
Example:
Enter the email address that you use as your mail ordering and invoicing point of contact, then click continue. A new password will be sent to you.
Note: If you have Spam filters installed please add avosec.co.uk to your white list to receive password changes, orders, offers and our newsletter.
Login in for the first time
Enter your username (Main contact email address registered with us) and your password.
You will then be taken to the entrance page were you should select «Avast».
You will see 3 pages of avast products, ignore the «Out of stock» notice. We don't hold stock as the licensing model is 100% electronic.
Select the product you require. You will see a screen similar to this one when you have selected the product you wish to purchase.
By default, the system shows 3 year license. You can change this by selecting this option and choosing 1,2 or 3 years. Please note the prices shown are applicable to your discount level and include VAT.
Enter the Quantity you would like to order.
You will see the total purchase value and products required. If you hold an account with us you will see the available Credit Balance and also any unpaid invoices. Click «Checkout» to continue.
Click «Continue» on the following screen. You will then reach the page «Payment Confirmation»
If you intend to pay via credit card just continue as the default card processing company is imbedded and you do not need to select anything.
If you have a credit account you will need to mark this option. Order confirmation page
Check the delivery and Billing address is yours (NOT your customers) then confirm order.
If you are paying via credit card you will see this screen.
Enter your card details and make payment. If you are charging to your account you will then be requested to enter the END USERS information in the license information page.
If you paid on account you will also see the license information page after selecting «charge to account».
Your license and Invoice will be sent to you via email.
IMPORTANT
Avast EULA License Agreement states clearly that the end users details need to beentered. This does NOT mean you put your own in or give your email address as the contact address. Licenses seen to have breached this may become void!
DISCOUNTING
If you need to place and order online which needs discounting for health, education, government or charity you need to send information including charity number if applicable website URL and as much information as possible to prove the discount is applicable. This information is now required by avast and you must send this to us. We will end you a voucher which you redeem during the order process. The relevant discount will be applied using this voucher and is valid once.
RENEWALS
Login to the system, on the right you will see a button which says «Renew License» select this. then enter the customer number you wish to renew (Note: Must be within 60 days of expiry) then click continue.
A message will show that you are OK to proceed. Now select Avast Product on the left menu and select the product you wish to purchase (No renewal will be shown here yet). Once you get to order confirmation you will see the product you chose (Example: Avast Pro) and the pricing relevant. Continue to payment method and confirm either to use account or credit card. The license information will contain your information and not the end users, so it is IMPORTANT you remember to change it here to contain the end users information.
The license will then be emailed to you.
INVOICE INFORMATION
You will get a basic text email invoice, this will be followed by a printed one in the post. If you have paid by credit card use the invoice you receive in the post for reference only.
If you pay on 30 day account please make sure you process this invoice promptly to avoid interest and legal charges. |
